Granville is a quaint New England-inspired village on a pedestrian-friendly grid, home to restaurants, shops, farmers’ markets, galleries and Denison University. Walk to everything from Bancroft Cottage, located one block from the heart of town. Cyclists and runners may enjoy the nearby TJ Evans Trail (two blocks from the cottage), which travels east to Newark and northwest to Alexandria and Johnstown. The city of Columbus, Ohio’s state capitol, is an easy 35 minutes away by car, and the suburbs of New Albany, Westerville and Gahanna are even closer, each home to dining, shopping and other attractions. Easton Town Center, 24 miles west of Granville off SR 161, features nearly 300 retailers plus restaurants and entertainment.
